As an experienced holistic dentist and dental acupuncturist, Dr. Lerner will screen you for sensitivity to materials in your teeth as well as for potential sensitivity to materials we may use during your treatment. He uses Applied Kinesiology on acupuncture points to determine if your body might respond adversely to the material.

When appropriate, we can also order blood tests such as a BioComp Screening for sensitivity to dental materials. This is similar to the Clifford Test, which is unavailable in the state of New York.
